Compositional analysis; Bearing material; Nitril rubber.Abstract
The compositions of material of imported bearing was determined. Material sample was treated by Soxhle extratrion and pyrolysis methods, then characterized by some techniques such as: Infrared spectrocopy (IR), thermo gravity analysis (TGA) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The experimental results showed that the bearing material includes nitril rubber, DOP plasticizer and inorganic fillers and additives. The organic content is 65,231%, carbon black is 24,121% and organic ash is 10,666% with 15% MoS2.
