Editorial Announcement

Following extensive discussion among the board members and with JMST, we, the editors, are happy to announce theJournal of Military Science and Technology is moving to a double-blind peer review process. A number of studies have demonstrated that double-blind reviewing, in which both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other, helps ameliorate biases in the review process. To enforce the effectiveness of this measure, it will be mandatory. Stepping back, we should remember that a key to the review process is that any manuscript should be judged solely on its content and merit. In this light, and given that double-blind reviewing has been successfully implemented in a number of other journals, we feel that our discipline should embrace the process as one that helps to reinforce the highest standards of scientific peer review and ethics.

On behalf of editor board

Editor-In Chief: Dr. Nguyen Manh Thang
