The paper presents research results on synthesis and evaluation of some properties according to the technical requirements of TΦ-60 resin (Russian Federation) for poly (ethylene terephthalate-co-ethylene sebacate) copolyesters that were synthesized in the laboratory. The chemical structure and ratio of terephthalate (T) and sebacate (S) components were proved and determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The effect of the T / S ratio on the resin and adhesive properties was also investigated. The survey results showed that poly (ethylene terephthalate-co-ethylene sebacate) copolyesters with a T / S ratio of 60/40 to 70/30 meet the TΦ-60 resin specifications and can be used to replace this plastic.
