Abstract

In this paper, we present the dating results of the brick samples at Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi, Vietnam) by the thermoluminescence method. From the obtained results, the materials used to construct the Imperial Citadel can be classified based on the produced year. On that basis, we determined the time period to start construction and restore or build a new construction of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
